Yulin University’s Sports Meet
Undoubtedly, sports play an essential part in human beings' lives that can’t be replaced by anything else.
There is a wide range of ball sports and physical sports. At our school we have basketball, volleyball, football, tennis, ping pong, badminton, etc.
We can choose to do body exercise if we cannot afford to buy the expensive materials needed for the previously mentioned ball sports. It is not the type of sports but our perseverance with it that matters. In other words, perseverance is good for our health.
It is advisable to spare 20 to 30 minutes a day for some physical training. Running is a simple and good choice. There is no denying that running or jogging is easier than other sports and it can strongly influence our physique. By getting up 30 minutes earlier to do some exercise, we will feel more active for the whole day. As a consequence we can study or work far more efficiently.
Of course, sports can also help us avoid some discomfort to our backs or eyes. I dare say that exercising every day keeps the doctor away. However, different people have different physical health which requires them to make different but sound choices. We, university students, should treasure the equipment with which the school provides us, seizing PE as an opportunity to learn. In terms of health, we have no choice but to keep it up by doing sports for we can do nothing without it.
